New project for a local sober house started today.
New tech
Unit for general network utilizing
Unifi network for general networking.
-Vlans keeping the management l/security segregated from the rest of the network.
Unifi U7 Pro APs are utilized for WiFi distribution.
-Vlans per resident isolating their devices from the rest of the house. Their phone goes on their own in private network with their tv or whatever other device they may have. This keeps residents devices secure and keeps them from interfering with other residents. Can’t stream to the wrong Tv, speaker etc.
clients can also control their rooms lights, integrated Sonos speaker etc. all from their phones.
Audio and lights are setup by master control to turn off at 10 pm.
Unifi Protect-utilizing G6 AI driven cameras externally and internally (common areas) giving residents peace of mind for theirs and their peers security within the home.
Unifi access-Residents will be able to access the home by tapping their registered phone on the front door or, PIN code or biometric ally adding an extra layer of external security. No one can unlock the doors unless they’ve been added to the access system.
Even this room will be biometrically protected.
