We love seeing ScanPro helping libraries connect their communities with local history! T.B. Scott Free Library offers access to hundreds of microfilm rolls using its ScanPro microfilm scanners. If you’re in the Merrill, Wis area, stop by and explore the collection!

September is Library Card Sign-up Month! We'll highlight something different every day to show how the library can hit all the right notes. Today, we are highlighting the Public Use Computers! There are 4 computers on the 2nd floor (loaded with internet filtering software) and 8 computers on the 3rd floor that can be used by anyone with a library card (Juvenile patrons must have an internet permission form on file to use the computers). If you need to print something, no problem! Printing is $.15 per page in Black & White and $.30 per page in color. Two of the computers on the 3rd floor have ScanPro microfilm viewers, so you can look through the hundreds of microfilm rolls that we have.

We're inspired by the Malden Public Library's project to digitize more than 100 years of local newspapers, preserving an incredible piece of community history for future generations.
