If you have friends who own businesses, take a moment to show them some love. Share their posts, leave a review, recommend them to someone, or simply tell others about what they do. Those small gestures can make a bigger difference than you realize.

Running a business takes courage, long hours, and a lot of faith. We all rise higher when we support one another instead of competing for attention.

Here's to cheering each other on, celebrating every win, and helping our business friends succeed. Community over competition.

I had the opportunity to appear on **The Jackson Robol Show**, and it was an experience I won't forget.

Jackson has a way of making every conversation feel genuine, and it was great spending time talking with him while learning more about his journey and his perspective on autism. His positivity, curiosity, and sense of humor make this much more than just a show (it's a reminder of how important it is to listen to and celebrate every person's unique story.)

Thank you, Jackson, for having me on. It was an honor to be part of your show, and I hope everyone takes a few minutes to watch and support what you're doing.

For 10 years, I lived with a disability that completely changed my life.

There were days when I wondered if I'd ever get back to feeling like myself, let alone build something of my own. The future felt uncertain, and a lot of the goals I once had seemed impossible.

But life has a way of surprising you.

Today, I'm the proud owner of my own business, and every day I get to help other small business owners chase their dreams while continuing to build mine. It hasn't been a straight path, and it definitely hasn't been easy, but every challenge has made me appreciate where I am even more.

People see the business today, but they don't always see the years of setbacks, frustration, and starting over that came before it.

One thing I learned through those 10 years is that you can't always control what happens to you, but you can control whether you give up. I chose to keep moving forward, even if some days "moving forward" meant taking one tiny step.

And because life has a sense of humor... after spending 10 years wondering if I could get back on my feet, I somehow ended up running a business. I still don't know who approved that decision, but I'm grateful they did. 😂

If you're going through something difficult right now, don't count yourself out. Your current chapter doesn't have to be your whole story.

I'm living proof that sometimes the comeback takes a little longer... but it's worth the wait.

Sometimes a website won't behave. And chases your customers away. Where do you go for help? To be continued...

Is your website actually working for you, or is it just sitting there? 🏗️

Most contractors spend thousands on tools and trucks but ignore their digital storefront. Take 60 seconds to check these 3 things right now:

1. Is your phone number at the very top?
2. Do you have real photos of your latest job (not stock photos)?
3. Does the page load in under 3 seconds?

If you answered 'no' to any of these, you're likely losing estimates to the next guy. Drop a 'LINK' below and I'll send you a quick video audit of your site! 📈

Ever notice how websites only seem to break at the absolute worst time?

Right after you launch a promotion.

Right before a big meeting.

Or at 2:00 AM... because apparently websites have a sense of humor.

The good news is that most website disasters don't happen overnight. There are usually warning signs—outdated plugins, neglected updates, hosting issues, expired SSL certificates, broken backups...

A little routine maintenance is a lot cheaper than an emergency rebuild.

That's why I spend just as much time keeping client websites healthy as I do building them.

Because I'd rather prevent the "404 Server Down Monster" from showing up than have to fight it later. 😅

When was the last time your website had a checkup?

I was looking at a contractor's website today and it reminded me of something...

A lot of contractors spend thousands on trucks, tools, equipment, wraps, and advertising... but the website is the one thing that gets ignored.

Here's what I see all the time:

Phone number buried somewhere
Stock photos instead of actual work
No recent projects
No reviews
"Serving Connecticut" instead of the actual towns you want to get work in
A contact form that asks for your life story

Most people decide if they're going to call you in less than a minute. If they can't figure out what you do, trust your work, or find your phone number, they're gone.

Your website doesn't need fancy animations or every new trend. It just needs to answer one question...

"Why should I hire you instead of the next guy?"

Sometimes a few small changes are all it takes to get more estimate requests.

If you're a contractor and you're wondering why your website isn't bringing in work, send it over. I'll tell you what I'd fix. No sales pitch. Just another set of eyes.
