The story behind the name ❤️

When we decided to expand, it was while my Papa was still with us and we weren’t entirely sure of what we were gonna do with all the extra space. We talked about having a gun shop upstairs where Papa could help us manage it and we talked about other things but always with the idea that it would be ran by family.

6 months after Papa passed away we got the keys to our new building and almost instantly we new exactly what we were gonna do with the downstairs , expand the boutique and add an ice cream parlor.

1️⃣ Papa loved ice cream and so it was so special to add that into our Plans
2️⃣ family is so important to us so we wanted a place where families could make memories together

Next came the name…. One day I just woke up and it hit me, Steve didn’t have a “nice” ring to an ice cream shop BUT Milton’s did 😍

Steve MILTON Schneider was Papas name💚

So Milton’s isn’t just a random ice cream shop in the back of a boutique… Milton’s is a piece of our heart and a place we hope that each of you create long and lasting memories 🍦

🚧 HEADS UP! 🚧

Starting July 6, the Hamilton EDC's (All Things Hamilton) Sidewalk Project will begin on our side of the square!

We're so excited to see this improvement come to downtown Hamilton and can't wait to watch it all come together!

The good news: We plan to remain OPEN and operating during our normal business hours (as long as construction goes according to plan).

🚪 Please note: The entrance to our store may change from week to week as construction progresses. We'll post updates here on Facebook and place signs on our doors directing you to the correct entrance.

We'll continue sharing any updates we receive so you always know the best way to access the store.

Thank you for your patience and for continuing to shop small while our downtown gets a fresh new look! ❤️
