The Latest on a wildfire burning in mountains near Los Angeles (all times local): 6:45 p.m. Firefighters have managed to partially corral a wildfire near Los Angeles that forced the evacuation of an historic observatory.

Ok, I hope everyone made it through Irma mostly "unscathed". We had quite a few questions prior to the storm regarding supplies and what type of food and equipment to buy so we decided to do a full revamp of our website to simplify. Alrighty fellow Floridians, she's here. We're getting ready to hunker down for a few days but we just wanted to wish everybody good luck. Hopefully, everyone has their supplies and had time to get properly prepared. If you still have power crank your freezers to the lowest setting, charge your phones and make sure all of your battery powered devices have a fresh set of batteries. Stay inside and away from the windows, be safe and ride it out. Good luck guys.

I know these storm reports are usually hyped up by the media but Irma's proving to be meaner than my ex (she only took MY house). All joking aside, take this one seriously, it's not the time to be stocking up on mixers and chips.
Our vendors are still shipping gear and food but if you're here in Florida you won't get it in time. It's time to shove the family (don't forget the pets) in the car and head out if you can. Irma is looking to be a rough one, we are still processing orders but it's a bit late to get most Florida shipments delivered on time without a ridiculous shipping cost. Be safe everybody, if you are in an evacuation order area do the smart thing and leave.

Hurricane Irma’s maximum sustained winds have reached 175 mph, putting it close to a Category 5 storm, according to the National Hurricane Center’s latest advisory Tuesday morning.
