I went out the Cripple Creek stone yard to work on a couple of w**d eaters. The first one was actually two w**d eaters one was stripped apart and the other one had a broken handle and throttle switch. I ended up taking the throttle assembly off above and pulled the throttle cable and kill switch off the bad. Then I had to swap how to kill switch and throttle cable then put the assembly on the working w**d eater.
The other one wouldn't dispense the string out, because it had wrapped wire around the inside of the head. I had to tear the whole head assembly part to get three pieces of wire out and then reassemble.

When a customer calls you and ask to come work on their w**deater. When I get out there I'm given two w**d eaters, one is stripped for parts and the other one has broken parts.
So I have to turn two into one working w**deater. I was able to replace the head, the broken handle and got it started. Despite missing three screws on the Recoil cover. The throttle trigger is broken but I can manually throttle up the carb.
I'll have to go back and see if I can remove the throttle assembly from the bad one to the working one.

I had a customer passed away a couple weeks ago and I usually hold his birthday party the first week of May. So yesterday instead of being a birthday party it was a celebration of his life.
While at the party last night I met a man named Todd that was ATC ( air traffic controller) and I asked if spent his time in RAPCON or Tower.. He spent 10 years in the Air Force as an ATC in the RAPCON (Radar Approach Control) and Tower.
I rattled off all the equipment I was trained on, FPN 47, GPA 131, GPA 133, TPX 42 and MPN 13 as ATC RADAR Repair Tech.
All the equipment he was familiar with and we talked about PAR (Precision Approach Radar), Radar ( Radio Detection and Ranging).
You never know who you might run into, the photo of me was taken at Tinker Air Force Base in front of a FPN 16 referred to as PAR.
