Southwest Florida Tech Services was founded on a lifelong passion for technology and helping people solve problems.

Born and raised in Fort Myers, Florida, owner Jacob Reiner discovered his passion for technology at a young age. By the age of 10, he was already taking apart electronics to understand how they worked and how they were designed. Throughout his teenage years, he spent countless hours repairing computers for friends and family, turning a hobby into a skillset that would eventually become a career.

At 24 years old, Jacob began his professional IT journey supporting a large remote call center environment. He initially worked with training classes to ensure new employees had the software and technology resources needed to succeed, helping reduce employee attrition through improved onboarding and technical readiness. He later transitioned into internal IT support, providing technical assistance to hundreds of remote and onsite employees while supporting critical business systems and infrastructure.

In 2017, Jacob joined a Managed Services Provider in Naples, Florida, where he gained extensive experience supporting more than 50 businesses and over 600 endpoints across a wide range of industries. During this time, he developed expertise in managed IT services, networking, cybersecurity, business technology, and team leadership.

Following the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, Jacob launched Southwest Florida Tech Services in January 2021 with a simple mission: provide businesses with honest, reliable, and professional technology support while building long-term relationships based on trust and results.

Today, Southwest Florida Tech Services helps businesses throughout Central and Southwest Florida with managed IT services, network design and support, computer repair, Microsoft 365 solutions, technology consulting, and custom software development. As technology continues to evolve, our commitment remains the same, delivering practical solutions that help businesses operate more efficiently, securely, and successfully.
