Sometimes the simplest fix makes the biggest difference.

A lot of Smart TVs struggle with buffering, lag, random disconnects, and poor streaming quality and many people assume the TV is the problem. In reality, Wi-Fi is often the weak link.

Switching your Smart TV from Wi-Fi to a hardwired Ethernet connection can improve stability, reduce buffering, lower latency, and create a much smoother viewing experience. Even the article points out that ditching Wi-Fi solved more problems than expected, especially with signal drops and network congestion. ()

If your streaming keeps cutting out, your picture quality drops, or your TV takes forever to load apps, it may not be your internet speed, it may just be how the TV is connected.

At SmarterBroadband, we always recommend the most reliable connection possible and when it comes to Smart TVs, wired often wins.

We’ll be sharing updates on our tower upgrades and celebrating some exciting news — we’ve deployed a brand-new 6 GHz access point right here in Colfax! 📡 This new technology means faster speeds and stronger connections for our Colfax neighbors, with more upgrades rolling out across our service area soon.
