Mtida, LLC Mtida Internet Service Provider serves the Camas Prairie with quality, high speed wireless Internet. Mtida has been family owned and operated since 1996.

Mtida Internet Service has served Idaho and Lewis Counties for almost 20 years, making the transition from a dial up provider to one of the most popular wireless services on the Camas Prairie. We have three access points across the prairie: High Camp south of Grangeville, Cottonwood Butte west of Cottonwood, and Terhaar Butte southeast of Greencreek. Current owners are Stacy Van Steenwyk, Greg Stone and Bruce King.

We've noticed customer radios went offline in the Old Whitebird Road area again and this is why. Also, ICLP is working today at restoring power to the mountain south of Grangeville, we call High Camp. Intermittent disconnects have been occurring due to their necessary work. Thank you for your patience and kind thoughts for those who have been working to restore services in this severe winter weather.

We are experiencing a power outage at Cottonwood Butte starting around noon. According to Idaho County Light and Power there is an issue with an Avista feed line. Estimated time of repair according to the Avista web page is 3:30 pm. Sorry for the inconvenience and we will work at keeping you informed as we get more information.

We have an update on the fiber cut near Craigmont. A landowner dug up the only fiber line feeding the county today just after 11 am. After all, it was a beautiful day for outside projects, right? The site was prepped today by crews and replacement fiber will arrive on site at 8:30 am tomorrow, Monday December 7. At that point the slow process of splicing fiber will begin. We expect Internet and phone services to be down all morning at the very least. We understand that 911 is down as well. Send good thoughts to the crews working on this emergency.

10:45 am November 19, power to the High Camp access point was restored. We didn't hear what brought the power down on the mountain and in the foothills yet, but crews did troubleshoot generator problems and were able to restore power and thus, Internet, thankfully. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

As of 6:30 am, there is a power outage affecting the High Camp tower. Crews are enroute.

Well, we thought we had gotten beyond all the weather induced power outages over the weekend, but this afternoon around 3 pm someone on a tractor took out a power pole that brought down power at our Cottonwood Butte site. ICLP says that crews have been dispatched at 3:30 pm this afternoon and they expect to have to power restored tonight. Thank you for your patience once again. Your service should come on automatically when the power comes up on the butte. If you are experiencing a slow connection, unplug your router and radio, then plug them back in to clear the cache and de-charge the devices.

There is still one more outage Inland Cellular crews are working on today and that's the LTE system in Grangeville. All LTE customers are being installed on a new Inland Cellular system today. This work started earlier this morning. We thank these customers for their patience as the installers make their way to each home.

Good news! High Camp is up and running! Thank you Inland Cellular crew! I'm sure the trail Greg and I broke last night was blown in and drifted, so the trip up there must've been tough although beautiful in the daylight. Last night in the dark Greg and I had to scout ahead of us to even locate the road and half buried trees. It's definitely a job for younger people than Greg and me! Feeling grateful that the network is back up and running!

Inland Cellular crews are at High Camp troubleshooting connection issue this morning. We have not heard an ETR yet. Let me tell you, Greg and I got up there last night after 2 hours of cutting out trees standing in snow up to my butt, digging out machine when it high centered on 4 to 5 foot drifts. Had to winch the machine off a high drift. Our back trail drifted in again and our machine broke down 1/2 a mile from Fish Creek. We walked out. My admiration goes out to all service workers who have been battling the elements this week restoring power and services.
