Basic product definition, features and functions of my mTEL product:
It will replace the standard manual dial-up telephone using the RJ45 telephone jack with a hands-free telephone (no handset) of similar dimensions using the same RJ45 jack and having the following features and functions:
1) An A-list of 'ACCEPT' telephone numbers set by the user.
2) A B-list of 'BLO
CKED' telephone numbers set by the user.
3) The ability to 'MODIFY' the A-list or B-list.
4) An LCD DISPLAY on all 4 faces of the telephone box allowing anyone in the room to see the incoming call number.
5) The LCD display can be set to 'BLINK': ON/OFF setting.
6) The LCD display can be 'turned on or off': ON/OFF setting.
7) The telephone box will 'RING' for incoming calls: ON/OFF setting.
8) The incoming call's telephone number will be saved in the I-list or 'INCOMING CALL LIST' which will be purged after a user specified time not to exceed 1 month.
9) The I-list can be VIEWED by the user to INSERT any of the numbers found on the I-list into either the A-list or B-list, or to just delete the telephone #.
10) The user will be able to 'ANSWER' the telephone from where he/she is in the room without having to run to the telephone and pick it up.
11) The user will be able to 'TERMINATE' the call from where he/she is in the room.
12) The user will be able to 'MAKE A CALL' from anywhere in the room while continuing his/her previous task (like cooking) and without having to pick-up the telephone.
