Your home’s Wi-Fi will work best if your router is in a central location — not hidden away in thecorner of the basement. Routers send the signal out in all directions, so if it's left in a corner, a significant percentage of your wireless coverage is being sent outside.

Today’s digital technology mainly uses the two senses of sight and sound. But with advances in extended reality (XR) applications and 5G/6G, it’s plausible that in the next couple of decades, we’ll be able to feel, taste, and smell digital objects in a way that’s nearly identical to physical experiences. Amazing!

In “Please Bump This Post” scams, the Facebook post may show a disturbing photo of an injured toddler, saying he’s in police care, but his parents haven’t been located. Or a supposedly lost or wounded pet could be featured with an urgent plea to help find its owners. Scammers use the term “bump” instead of “share” to get around scam protections in the Facebook algorithm. Do not share these posts!

Is it time to replace your TV? On average, a TV lasts between 5 and 10 years, but some signs may indicate that it's time to replace it sooner:
- Age: TVs may start to show their age around 5 years old, and typically fail after 8–11 years or about 50,000 hours of use.
- Picture quality: The screen may be fading, have colored lines, or poor sound quality.
- Functionality: The TV may not respond to the remote, take a long time to start, or lack smart functionality.
- Other issues: The TV may have screen burn-in or glare.
If you decide a new TV makes sense for you, the good news is that TV prices have been consistently decreasing, even as they've become larger and more technologically advanced.

You may think you’d never fall for a scam. But given the right circumstances, almost anyone can become a victim. Those circumstances include financial desperation that clouds judgment, emotional triggers such as urgency and fear, and being too trusting of what appears to be a message from government officials or company representatives. Please stay alert and remind your family members to do so as well.

Ever done a speed test on your internet connection where the speeds didn’t match what’s stated for your plan? Speeds can vary due to factors including the distance your device is from your Wi-Fi router, the number of devices connected to your network at the time of the speed test, and whether devices are running software updates or background processes that can take up a chunk of your bandwidth.
