This truly hurts me to see how fast this fire is growing. Praying that an abundance of rain will remove the spark from this fire. Lord...so many people, livestock, furry loved ones, residences, businesses, and so much more, have been affected. Please, God, help...this world already has so much pain and loss.please stop this fire and bless all those who have put their lives on the line to help others. Amen...and Amen.

Recently, I saw a post where someone was needing help with a slow computer. Of which, I would be more than happy to go over the unit with them.

That way...I can best advise what needs to be done to get the unit back in working order as well as if the unit is worth investing in for any software or hardware repairs that are needed.

There are many things that can cause a slow computer and what can be done to "speed it up".
These...are the main culprits of "slowness" and what would need to be done:
1-It could be something as simple as allowing the unit to catch up on missing Windows, security, and driver updates.
2-There could be software installed that is malicious or unwanted causing unnecessary processes to run in the background using up system resources...that just need to be removed.
3-The device may not have enough RAM installed to handle the day-to-day use of programs/processes that are running on the computer. Upgrade the units' RAM, if possible.
4-The operating system could be corrupt and just needs to be repaired.
5-The internal drive could be failing and needs to be replaced.

And...when going over the unit and any issues found...It is always best to look at the full picture...never a quick fix...by taking note of two main things:
1-Can the system run the currently supported operating system?
2-Would the cost for necessary repairs be almost as much (or more than) just replacing the unit? Taking into factor what the units' current value is compared to the cost of repairs and the cost of replacement.
---The industry standard is if the cost for repairs is close to or more than 70% of the cost to replace...it is advised to replace the unit AND to share with the client as to WHY they should replace at this point.

If you have a computer that is slow or is just not running the way it should...you are always welcome to call or stop by our shop here in Graham.

Memorial Day. Let us remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom in defense of our nation. And...let us also remember their families and loved ones.

My father was Superintendent for more than one National Cemetery when I was growing up and he took much pride in both his work and in making sure that the cemetery, the grounds, the headstones...were immaculate...every day. And when Memorial Day was coming...the flags all had to be set just perfect in honor, remembrance and gratitude for those that gave that sacrifice.

As every Mothers Day arrives...I feel sadder than last year because it means one more year has passed by...another year added to how long you've been gone, Mom.

You were the best Mom anyone could ever have. Always there for me. And I wish I would have told you more often how much I loved you and appreciated you.

I love you and miss you so much Mom! And...as time goes on...it hasn't gotten any easier. Happy Mother's Day, Mom!!

And to all the Moms out there...you are appreciated...you are loved. May your Mother's Day be filled with love and family...to show you how much your sacrifices and caring have helped to build a beautiful and loving family! :)
