Several students from Southeast Valley’s Career Exploration class toured Webster-Calhoun yesterday. They learned about being a cooperative, being involved in our rural communities, and various jobs available within the broadband industry such as accounting, customer service, outside plant technicians and much more. Chad Loseke provided a tour of construction equipment used to maintain our buried fiber network.

Today, Mrs. Jaeschke's Career Exploration students visited Webster-Calhoun Telephone Association in Gowrie as part of our Digital Technology Career Cluster unit. Students toured the facility, learned about the company and its services, and explored the many career opportunities available in the telecommunications industry. Thank you to Webster-Calhoun Telephone Association for welcoming our students and helping them connect classroom learning to real-world careers!

Congratulations to Morgan Schamel as she begins sessions for the 7th Iowa Communications Alliance Leadership Academy. Limited to only 12 individuals from across Iowa, the Academy works to raise up leaders through networking opportunities, mentorship, and leadership skills training.

We've received several calls from customers using TP-Link routers who are having trouble getting connected to the internet. In the cases reported to us, customers were able to verify that their internet service was still working when bypassing the router. This indicates the issue may be related to the router rather than the internet connection itself.

Several customers have let us know that they were able to resolve the issue after contacting TP-Link Support. Solutions have included a factory reset of the router or assistance from TP-Link's technical support team. TP-Link Support can be reached at 1-866-225-8139.

The Gowrie Swimming Pool was recently awarded $500.00 from the Aureon Charity Grant Program to help purchase a heater for the public swimming pool.
