As we celebrate 80 years of connecting our communities, we are reminded that what makes this company special has always been about more than television, telephone, and internet service. It’s about the people, the relationships, and the values behind it all.
From putting customer service first to supporting our local communities, leading with strong family values, and always standing behind your employees, you both set an example of what true leadership looks like. You work hard, lead with dedication, and make us feel valued as individuals and as a team.
Being part of a company with such a rich history, now in its 80th year, is something to be proud of. Your commitment to this company, its customers, its communities, and its employees is a big part of what keeps that legacy going strong.

Set a calendar reminder a couple of days before renewal so you can decide whether it’s worth keeping. A trial should help you try something—not surprise you with a charge.

A stolen password shouldn’t be all it takes to get into your account. Turn on two-step verification wherever it’s offered, especially for email and banking. An authenticator app or security key can add another layer of protection. Save your recovery codes somewhere safe, and never share a sign-in code with someone who calls or messages you.

A browser pop-up claiming your computer is infected can look convincing—especially when it tells you to call “support” right away. Don’t call the number, install software, or give a stranger remote access to your device. Close the tab or browser; if it won’t close, use your device’s task manager or force-quit option. If you’re concerned, open your trusted security software directly instead of following the pop-up.

Twice a year, the sun is positioned directly in line with the ground-based satellites used to receive your television programming. this positioning causes short programming interruptions as the sun's energy overpowers the signals transmitted by the satellites. These interruptions can cause the picture to become snowy, pixilated or display a message such as "Channel Not Available" or "One Moment Please." This will happen several times throughout the day and normally lasts no more than 15 minutes each time. There is no action that you need to take as your service will restore itself afterward. QR codes are handy, but scammers are using fake ones on signs, flyers, parking meters, and even emails to send people to lookalike websites. Before you scan, take a second to check whether the code seems tampered with or out of place. When in doubt, type in the website yourself instead of letting a mystery square decide.
