Have you ever wonder why your computer takes too long starting up? The average computer takes between 45 to 60 seconds to boot up depending on how many programs are being loaded. Most of these programs are not needed. When you install or update a program it will automatically set it to open at startup. By stopping them from starting you not only increase your computer startup time but you are releasing available RAM which is needed to run the programs you are actually using. The programs that you stopped opening when the computer in started can be started manually. This is just one of the tasks I do during my general maintenance when I service your computer.
Winter vacation is coming up shortly, most teachers hand out homework assignments and/or projects that may account for 1/4 of your child's grades. If your children are anything like mine they will wait until the last minute to start working on a five-page essay on some observe topic that we never heard about. The computer is slower than normal, every time they try to access the internet they get redirected to another search engine page. Don't wait until the last minute. If you are having problems with Google Chrome, you're not the only one. Chromes new up grade has kinks in it causing problems with your Windows Operational System. Use a different web browser until they fix the update.
