If any of you cnc machinists are interested in working on a newer live tool, y-axis, subspindle Okuma lathe in an air conditioned shop let me know.

I need someone that can setup/operate. Programming would be great but I can live without that skill if I need to.

Shop is in Girard.

Live tool drilling Saturday! Main spindle then on the sub spindle after the part transfers.

The job just finished and we figured we're around 300" on each drill. Dormer A920's are killing it!

One of our more recent projects. We were tasked with machining these flanges from heat treated 17-4 Stainless and they came out great.

The end user joins them with a wound carbon fiber tube which we then rechuck to drill 48 rivet holes around each end (shown in the last few pics)

These are drive shafts that weigh 9 pounds. 2 pounds of carbon fiber, 7 pounds of stainless.

Each shaft will handle 6,000 horsepower in a pumping application. They are designed to withstand more than 10,000 horsepower.
