We’re proud to announce the launch of a new workforce learning program in partnership with Transfr , introducing LINK (Learning Immersively for Next-Gen Knowledge), an innovative initiative designed to build broadband talent across rural Texas. Through cutting-edge VR training and industry-aligned curriculum, LINK empowers high school students and local workers with the skills needed for high-demand careers in broadband and telecommunications, all without leaving their communities. In collaboration with Transfr and fellow rural broadband providers, we’re creating meaningful pathways to opportunity while helping bridge the digital divide across Texas. We’re especially excited that three East Texas school districts, Gilmer, Ore City , and Union Hill, are leading the way as the first in the state to launch this program.

This week we celebrate an incredible milestone — Marty’s retirement after 30 dedicated years at Etex! 🎉

For three decades, Marty has been a valued part of the Etex family, bringing hard work, commitment, knowledge, and friendship to everyone around him. His impact and contributions over the years have helped shape so much of what Etex is today.

Congratulations, Marty, on an amazing career and a well-earned retirement! We hope this next chapter is filled with relaxation, adventure, family time, and all the things you enjoy most. You’ve certainly earned it!
