We recently completed a network relocation and infrastructure refresh at a client site in Sarasota — and it was one of those projects that reminded us why planning and documentation matter just as much as ex*****on.

The initial task looked straightforward: terminate 48 cables and add 9 more. Once on site, we identified additional infrastructure needs beyond the original scope to support wireless access points and endpoint expansion. After documenting our assessment and recommendations, the client chose an adjusted path that balanced their budget and technical needs.

Through collaboration and transparency, the client also decided to expand their wireless coverage from three to five access points to better support the space. We documented the cabling requirements and have the additional work queued once the hardware arrives.

Beach Park Animal Hospital — start to finish.

This project began in the middle of active construction: open ceilings, exposed wiring, unfinished treatment rooms, and systems still being roughed in. Power, networking, and clinical workflows all had to be built while coordinating with contractors, electricians, and clinic leadership.

As the build progressed, we delivered:

Tonight’s win didn’t involve servers, switches, or cable runs — just four PlayStation 5 controllers that wouldn’t hold a charge anymore.

Instead of replacing them, I opened them up, diagnosed the issue, and replaced the battery packs. All four are now charging properly and holding a full charge again.

This is the same mindset I bring to my clients’ environments every day:

Two technicians are hard at work today. One is running a rigorous pillow-pressure test on the pumpkin cushion, and the other is ensuring the blanket remains at maximum coziness levels. Critical operations, obviously.

Meanwhile, the human member of this team is headed back to County Line Animal Hospital to finish up their full network revamp — racks cleaned up, new cameras online, and their PC farm ready to roll.

And next week? We’re leveling up.

Beach Park Animal Hospital is moving into a brand-new building, and Waltronz Tech gets to build their entire network from scratch — clean, fast, and built right the first time. Plus, BlueBear Heating & Air has an expansion project waiting too.

A busy stretch, but when you’ve got two Chief Comfort Officers keeping the home base secure, the work feels a whole lot lighter.
