The annual C-N Stallion Auction brings together an excellent selection of proven and promising stallions from the barrel racing, cow horse, running horse and performance horse industries. Breeders have the opportunity to bid on quality stallion services while supporting programs that give back to owners, breeders and competitors.

Proceeds from the auction help fund the C-N Stallion Incentive Program and provide added money for the C-N California Futurity. Foals sired by eligible stallions can compete for valuable incentive money at the futurity, creating lasting benefits for participating stallion owners, mare owners and competitors. 🚨 SCAMMERS ARE AT IT AGAIN! 🚨

Well, it looks like the scammers are getting a little more creative! 🤦‍♀️

We want to give our clients and friends a heads-up about another fraudulent email making the rounds, pretending to come from Aggieland Website Design.

This one is particularly sneaky because they're using our company name, Tom's name, his photo, and even our business contact information to make the email look legitimate.
But here's what you need to know!

📧 ALWAYS check the actual email address! Even though the email looks like it's coming from us, it's being sent from a Gmail account. We do NOT use Gmail for our business correspondence. Our emails come from our company domain.

💻 We do NOT build or design WordPress websites! Never have. Our websites are custom-built, so any email claiming your WordPress website needs updates from us is a BIG red flag!

⚠️ Don't let the familiar names and photos fool you. Scammers can copy email signatures, logos, photos, and contact information to make their messages appear legitimate.

If you ever receive an email supposedly from us that seems suspicious, please get in touch with us directly before clicking links, replying, or providing any information.

We've been building websites and taking care of our clients for over 28 years, and protecting those relationships is incredibly important to us.

Here's what kept me up after that fake email went out under my name.

Horse associations are about the easiest thing in the world to impersonate. 😬

Your secretary might email from home one year and a Gmail account the next, and then there's a new secretary anyway. Nobody thinks twice about a new address.

It's stallion auction season! Bidding for the WPRA Pro Elite Sire Incentive Stallion Auction opens TODAY October 10, 2026 at 12:00am MT and closes November 30, 2026 at 6:00pm MT.

The WPRA Pro Elite Sire Incentive (PESI) program rewards stallion owners, offspring owners, and breeders every time a horse succeeds at PESI-approved events. Built with the rodeo horse in mind, PESI is one of the few incentive programs that covers futurity, derby, open jackpots, and professional rodeo. The annual auction, added in 2019, lets stallion owners donate a breeding. Owners may also enroll as reference stallions by paying a yearly fee.

PESI helps market stallions to a wide audience while paying bonus money to stallion owners for winning offspring. Offspring owners earn bonuses for competing and placing at approved events, and breeders are rewarded for choosing enrolled stallions. Proceeds support the overall program and add value across the barrel racing and rodeo industries.

I have never once been Mark Abrams.

Here's the thing most people miss: the name on an email is whatever the sender types in. Anybody can type "Tom Bruch." Check the actual address next to it.

Thirty years ago, we met Terry and Andrea Byer through the horses. 🐴

Not long after that, they helped us purchase our very first home in Rutledge, Georgia.

Our friendship grew from there. From hauling to horse shows, raising kids and a whole lot of horses in between, there are a lot of great memories from those years.

Terry is in heaven now, but he will always be a big part of those memories. ❤️

Way back in 1999, they trusted us to build the first website for Byer Realty. And now, all these years later, we just finished a beautiful new site for Andrea.

That's what makes this one so special.

It's not really about a website.
