We would like to congratulate our friends over at Warehouse Cinemas LLC (with locations in Frederick, Hagerstown and soon to be in Baltimore) on being awarded a US Patent (11,530,543 B2) for their SkyVue screen technology.

SkyVue, which mounts the screen up higher but angles down for a more comfortable viewing and better sightlines from recliner type seating, was used on all screens at Warehouse Cinemas Frederick and screens 1 and 2 at Warehouse Cinemas Leitersburg.

We encourage everyone to check these awesome theatres out. They back up their great pictures with awesome sound too. Note, all SkyVue systems, thus far, also feature 4K RGB laser projection, Q-SYS sound systems with either 7.1 or Dolby ATMOS.

Cardinal is proud to have helped to bring these SkyVue systems into reality and look forward to many more.

Another bright spot this year has been the very recent opening (Thanksgiving) of the Broad Theater of Souderton, PA. It is a 3-screen theatre with stadium seating, all 7.1 audio with incredibly built/isolated auditoriums.

Well, this year has definitely been a strange one. It has been one that has hurt most of our industry, particularly hard.

However, there have been some bright spots:

We would like to congratulate Warehouse Cinemas, in Frederick, MD for their opening around Labor Day. They are a 10-plex featuring all 4K RGB Laser projection on their "Skyvue" screens. They have really comfy heated reclining chairs and incredible sight-lines. That is combined with QSC's Q-SYS audio pumping through QSC's 4-way stage speakers and, in theatre #6, a no-holds barred Dolby ATMOS sound system.

This is definitely a theatre to check out the next time you venture to the cinema.

We almost forgot to mention their incredible food and drink selections for both in and outside of the auditoriums. This is not your typical cinema!
