How to find out if your baking heating element has gone bad!
1. Pull oven away from wall
2. Remove power plug!
3. Remove back cover panel
4. Locate one prong on the left and right side of the back of the oven towards the bottom.
5. Remove the wires that are connected to each terminal.
6.using a multimeter, turn your settings to the ohms setting and if you have a setting that makes noise for continuity use that setting. If you do not just find the setting that brings up all 0.00.
7.place one black lead to one terminal and one red lead to the other bake element terminal.
8. If the multimeter beeps or makes a constant noise your baking element has continuity and is fine. If it does not , your heating element has gone bad!
That's it! If your oven is not heating and you've done this you will need to consult with a professional for further assistance. Have a wonderful Friday ahead!
