Everyone thinks Spring is when the work starts. It’s not. Spring is when you find out whether the work got done.

The real building happens now — in the late Summer and early Fall, when the pace finally lets up and you have the space to look honestly at what happened.

Which crops earned their bed space.

Which customers came back.

Which parts of your business ran without you and which parts fell apart the second you got busy.

So this is your reminder that a slower season is not a lost one. It is the one where the next version of your farm gets decided.

I am holding two spots for September and October for flower farmers ready to make that next thing real.

No rush — just letting you know the door is there.

Grow the flowers. Build the business.

I am tired. The good kind, mostly. The kind that comes from months of early mornings and full buckets and saying yes to more than I probably should have.

But tired is tired, and I have stopped pretending otherwise.

This is the part of flower farming that does not make the highlight reel.

The middle of the season when the beauty is undeniable and so is the exhaustion.

When you love it completely and also cannot wait for the first cool morning.

Both things are true.

They have been true every year I have done this.

What is different now is that I built a business that keeps running when I do not.

That was not luck.

That was six seasons of learning the hard way that the growing is only half of it.

If you are in the tired part too — you are not doing it wrong. You are doing it.

Grow the flowers. Build the business.

Hi, I’m Rachel — flower farmer, mom of three, and the person who helps growers like you turn your story into a business people can find.

I grow specialty cut flowers in South Jersey with my husband and our three kids.

I thought growing was the whole job.

Six seasons taught me it is maybe half.

The turn came when I stopped guessing and actually learned how this works — how people search, how a website earns trust before you ever meet, how showing up consistently compounds.

That is what changed my farm.

Not more beds or better seed. Being findable.

Horses came before flowers, and the lesson never changed. I built Bits & Blooms Creative Co. for the farmer I used to be — and if that’s where you are right now, I built it for you too.

Stick around. I share what I’ve learned here, and I don’t gatekeep it.

Grow the flowers. Build the business.

Incase you needed it, this is your sign to follow your dreams, carve your own way, and listen to that voice inside your head and heart telling you which direction to go in.

I have been LOVING everything that’s been going on this season at our flower farm NJ Farmer Florist & Cut Flower Farm | Bits & Blooms Flower Farm and here!

I told myself in the beginning of the season that my boundaries were going to be firm, I was done people pleasing, and I was only working with clients both on the flower side and the website and marketing side that truly felt like the right fit.

You know what I mean.

The phone calls that immediately makes you feel like you found a new friend.

The client that just gives you full creative liberty, and trusts your heart and vision.

I have appreciated everyone who has found me over the past year and a half, and I am extremely grateful that you trust me, my vision, and my passion for not only my business, but yours as well.

Here’s to a beautiful second half of 2026 together. 🤍

Most flower farmers think about selling seasonally. The busiest growers think about selling year round.

Fall workshops. Holiday arrangements. Winter wreaths. Valentine’s Day pre-orders. Dried flower subscriptions. Digital products. Mentorship.

The growing season ends — the business does not have to.

But none of that works without the infrastructure to support it.

A website that can pivot with the seasons.

Product pages that can be updated, drafted, and launched when the timing is right.

An email list full of people who are already bought in and waiting to hear from you.

The flower farmers who make money in January started planning in July.

What are you building this season for the one that comes next?

Local SEO is the most underused tool in a flower farmer’s marketing arsenal.

When someone types “flower farm near me” or “fresh flowers in [your town]” into Google — who shows up?

If it is not you, it is someone else. And that customer who was ready to buy, who wanted local and farm fresh and the real thing — they just found your competition instead.

Local search is not complicated. But it is intentional.

It takes the right words in the right places on a website that is actually built to be found.

This is not about going viral. This is about being the obvious answer when someone in your own backyard is already looking for you.

That is the foundation I build into every single site. Not just pretty pages — pages that show up.

Pretty and profitable are not the same thing. A website can be absolutely gorgeous and still fail your business completely.

If the navigation is confusing, if the customer cannot find the buy button, if the copy talks about you instead of them, if the load time is slow — they are gone. And they are not coming back.

A website that sells does one thing above everything else: it makes the next step obvious.

Click here to shop. Join the CSA here. Book your wedding consult here. No guessing. No clicking around. Just a clear, easy path from curious to customer.

That is the line I walk with every single build. Beautiful and functional. Intentional and clear. A site you are proud of that also does its job.

I am going to be transparent with you because I think the mystery around pricing does more harm than good.

A lot of flower farmers assume a professional website is out of reach. Too expensive. Too complicated. Something they will get to eventually when the farm is bigger or the budget is there.

Here is what I want you to know.

I work with all budgets. All sizes. Whether you are just starting out and need something simple and solid to grow into, or you are ready for a full build with all the bells and whistles — there is a path forward.

For larger projects I also offer payment plans. Because a website is an investment and investments should not have to happen all at once.

The cost of not having a website — in missed sales, missed customers, missed opportunities — is almost always more than the cost of building one. I have watched it happen too many times.

There is truly no reason your farm should not have an online presence. Not budget. Not timing. Not feeling like you are not ready yet.

Whatever you are working with — reach out. The conversation costs nothing and I promise we will figure out a way to make it work.

Comment “WEBSITE” and let’s talk about what is possible for your farm.

There is no shame in starting on Wix or Squarespace. A lot of the best flower farmers I know did exactly that — got something up, figured out their brand, and started selling.

But there comes a point where the platform starts holding you back instead of pushing you forward. The email marketing is clunky. The mobile experience is frustrating. The integrations cost extra. The ceiling is lower than your ambition.

That is where Shopify comes in.

I have been slowly migrating clients from Wix and Squarespace to Shopify and every single one of them has said the same thing — they wish they had done it sooner.

Better mobile experience. Built in email marketing and automation. Room to grow without switching platforms again in two years. One ecosystem that actually talks to itself.

If you are feeling the limitations of where you started — you do not have to stay there. Let’s build something that grows with you.

Time.

Every single one of them said time.

And I get it — I really do. When you are up before sunrise, in the field all day, running a household, managing a business, and trying to show up online — sitting down to build a website feels impossible. So it stays on the list. Season after season.

But here is the thing. The time you spend not having a website is costing you more than the time it would take to build one.

Every week without a site is a week of potential customers finding someone else. Of brides not booking. Of CSA spots going unfilled. Of money staying in the field.

That is exactly why I exist. So that the website gets done — and done right — without it being one more thing on your already full plate.
