Last month Julia Chase, Sincere Foundation Program Manager traveled to Orleans, MA to meet with Hadley Luddy, Chief Executive Officer and Terri Barron, Program Officer at Homeless Prevention Council (HPC.) HPC, a three time grant recipient, fights and prevents homelessness in eight Lower and Outer Cape towns. For over 35 years, HPC has assisted more than 52,000 local residents.

Last month, the Sincere team gathered in Toronto 🇨🇦 for our annual Team Summit. It was an incredible few days to connect in person, enjoy delicious meals, play some fun arcade games, compete in a mini hackathon, visit the CN Tower, and create lasting memories. We also came together to review our Q4 priorities and chart the path ahead. The team is aligned, motivated, and ready for what's next. ❤️💛💙

Grant Spotlight: Sincere Foundation recently awarded a grant to Berkshire Bounty, a nonprofit that advances food security throughout Berkshire County.This grant will support programs that connect local farms and retailers with food providers, deliver food boxes to families facing barriers to food access, and address gaps in the regional food system.

Last week our company book club gathered online and at HQ to discuss our latest read, “The Silent Patient” by Alex Michaelides, a psychological thriller that follows a woman who stops speaking after a shocking act of violence and the therapist determined to uncover the truth.

Our book club brings teammates together to share perspectives, connect over great stories, and discover new reads.

Last month Sincere Foundation Program Manager, Julia Chase, visited DOVE, Inc., a nonprofit that serves adults, elders/seniors, teens, and children who have been abused emotionally, financially, physically, and/or sexually. Executive Director, Mick Hirsch; Development Director, Cassie McGlynn; and Housing & Economic Empowerment Director, Sarah Kinnane highlighted DOVE’s many programs and services. These include crisis intervention, danger assessment and safety planning, supportive counseling, emergency shelter, legal advocacy and representation, and community outreach, education, and training.

Grant Spotlight: For more than 35 years, Homeless Prevention Council (HPC) has helped Cape Cod residents find and maintain stable housing. HPC’s Personalized Case Management program provides one-on-one support to 2,800 vulnerable and at-risk community members each year. Case Managers create individualized plans that address housing stability, financial needs, self-sufficiency, and connections to community resources.

Sincere Foundation has partnered with MetroWest YMCA to sponsor the Nourishing Nook, a food-choice pantry that provides nutritious food and essential groceries to individuals and families in Framingham.

The Nourishing Nook sponsorship reflects the growing philanthropic impact of the Sincere Foundation, which has awarded more than $1.2 million in grants to Massachusetts nonprofits.
