Hello beautiful souls! I am liquidating a storage unit today that has a beautiful collection of Cloisonné and tbh this is a first for me. I found it super interesting so I am sharing.

I would LOVE to hear from anyone who collects and can enlighten me...

Cloisonné is an ancient decorative technique that involves applying enamel to metal objects to create designs.

The word comes from the French term cloisonner, meaning "to partition". The process involves soldering metal strips or wires to a metal base, bending them to form a design, and filling the spaces with enamel paste. The object is then fired, ground, and polished. The enamel turns into a glass-like substance when fired, creating bright, opaque colors.

I am super intrigued 😁

Found good homes for the bed, dresser and pub-style dining set so I was able to see what was under it...

It's not another dresser lol

It's a very large, solid wood dining table, and it's super heavy!

Under that is a really nice sofa bed couch. Super soft, and in really good condition from what I can see.

I was a little optimistic in my plan to move this by myself 🙄

Good morning beautiful souls! This is my baby Red Plumeria tree. It came off a huge tree in my Uncle Karl Johnson yard. He gave me this cutting 4-years ago when I first moved into my apartment. This is not a typical super-hardy easy-to-grow Plumeria...my Uncle warned me. I unalived it. Twice. 😂 It finally came back and just now, well yesterday, bloomed... absolutely gorgeous and it smells super awesome! Reminds my of an orange blossom sorta...have an amazing day! ❤️‍🔥⚓❤️‍🔥
