Well today is officially ONE YEAR of working together with Lezli Hall, the Purple Rose Psychic. Who knew that one random meeting at the Wellness Expo in Grapevine last summer would lead to so much so fast! I had been trying to start my business and kept hitting walls. Initially when I met her I actually just liked Lezli’s vibe and wanted to grab a cup of coffee and hang out. My circle had changed drastically in the previous months and I was really missing that connection. I ended up getting her number from her sign and we texted, and though our schedules didn’t line up at first, we did eventually meet!
I had started seeing her posts often and knew I could help support what she was trying to do. I had the nudge for weeeeeeks to reach out and ask about working together. I kept pushing it off and thought she would think I was a weirdo, but one day I just jumped and asked. Before I could even get into anxiety about the message, she quickly texted back, “Yes, we should meet.” We did, and that one little Starbucks meeting where she said yes turned into so many more yes moments. We jumped into this together! Don’t get me wrong, she had already put in months of going to fairs and taking classes, but when we started doing this together it really was a whole other level of energy. We started going to fairs together and it was a given that if she was going, I would too. Somewhere in all of that, Lezli and I also ended up joining forces with Dina F Gilmore Ashwani from Southern Fried Psychics ,co-hosting a PODCAST Mystics Spilling the Tea which is another thing I never would have imagined coming from that first yes. Lezli Is the type of person that sees what she wants and goes for it regardless of how other people respond and I really love her fearlessness in that way.
Throughout this time I started to really get to know Lezli, and the more I knew her, the more I wanted to continue to hang out and know more. She has quite literally been there through one of the scariest and largest transitions of my life, starting my own business as a newly single mom and throughout it she has been an incredible support and genuine friend. If there is one thing I have learned from Lezli, it is that truly anything is possible, always have plans A, B, C, and D lol, and kindness costs you nothing. She was my first official client but most of all she has become a dear friend where we root for each other to shine. Here is to another year with the Purple Rose Psychic
