If you’re starting an HVAC business, don’t wait until you’re desperate for leads to start building your online presence.

The companies that show up first on Google usually started laying the groundwork before the slow season hit.

Start with the essentials:
✅ Claim and optimize your Google Business Profile
✅ Build a professional website
✅ Start local SEO early
✅ Ask every happy customer for a review
✅ Keep your branding and business information consistent everywhere

You don’t need to do everything at once.

But you do need to start building the signals that tell Google and homeowners that your HVAC company is legitimate, active, and worth calling.

Save this if you’re building an HVAC company from the ground up.

Follow HVAC Webmasters | SEO & Marketing Experts for HVAC marketing, SEO, Google Maps, and lead generation strategies built for contractors.

If you could only keep ONE your website or your page
Which one are you choosing?👀

Most contractors think they know the answer.

But the bigger question is:

Which one is actually helping you get found when a homeowner’s AC dies and they need someone NOW?

One builds trust.

One helps Google understand your services and service area.

And when they work together with your Google Business Profile, that’s where things get interesting.

Swipe through before you decide which one matters more. 👉

Then tell me in the comments:

A) Website
B) page

And bonus question: where are most of your HVAC leads coming from right now?

August in Texas separates the HVAC techs from the rest of us 😭🔥 Who else is surviving attic season?

Most HVAC companies don’t have a traffic problem. 👀

They have a visibility + conversion problem.

The longer you work in HVAC marketing, the more obvious it becomes:
→ More traffic doesn’t always mean more calls
→ Your Google Business Profile can be a huge lead source
→ Generic location pages aren’t enough anymore
→ Real HVAC jobs create better local signals
→ Reviews build trust with homeowners and search platforms
→ AI search is changing how contractors get discovered

The goal isn’t to “do more marketing.”
It’s to build a stronger HVAC brand in the places homeowners are already looking.

Which one do you think HVAC companies overlook the most?

Every agency says "schema." Almost none of them explain it.

It's a label. It tells a machine that this string of numbers is your phone, this text is your service area, this block is a question and this block is its answer.

Machines that addemble answers love pre-sorted facts, That's the whole reason it works.
Three types. One afternoon. Save this

Zero-click search: from ~56% of queries to ~69% in toughly a year.

Most people searching for HVAC help never visit a website at all. They read the answers and act.

Which reframes everything, you're not competing for the click. You're competing to be inside the answer.

Flat traffic isn't always a failure. Somestimes it means the results page ate your click. The only fix is being named.

Follow if you'd rather understand this now than in 2027.

Swap-the-city-name pages were a cheap win for a decade. They're now a liability.
Answer engines pull the specific over the generic every time. A page with
one real local
detail beats ten templated ones.
Test: could you paste this page under a different city and would it still read fine? Then
it's not a city page.

Save this before you order 20 more of them.

We hear the same thing on almost every call.

Four companies. Charts that went up. A phone that didn't ring. Somebody who stopped answering around month five.

Then we ask them to tell us what "working" was supposed to look like — and most of the time nobody ever defined it for them. That's the actual problem. You can't fire a bad agency in month three if nobody told you what month three should look like.

Booked jobs. That's the number. Everything else is a chart.
