🚨 SMART TECH, SIMPLE STEPS: Don’t Fall for Fake Renewal Emails!

Have you received an email saying your Geek Squad, Norton, McAfee, or another subscription has been renewed—and you need to call immediately to cancel it?

⚠️ It may be a scam.

These emails are designed to make you panic about a charge and call the number provided. That phone call is often where the real scam begins.

✅ Don’t call the number
✅ Don’t click links or attachments
✅ Don’t reply
✅ Mark the message as Junk or Spam
✅ Block the sender and delete it

Remember: An invoice in an email does not mean money was actually taken from your account. When in doubt, contact the company using a phone number or website you find independently—not the information in the suspicious email.

📱 Not sure whether an email is legitimate? Silver Tech Assist can help.

Friendly, patient tech help—without the jargon.
