Axis Connected Tech is a growing AV integration company dedicated to delivering top-tier audio-visual experiences and smart-home solutions. We seek a motivated, detail-oriented AV professional who is eager to grow with our team and take on challenging projects for both residential and commercial clients.
We are looking for a certified AV Technician with hands-on experience in automation, preferably with Elan and URC Q-SYS programming. The ideal candidate will blend technical proficiency with excellent customer service, delivering seamless installations, programming, and support. This role offers growth opportunities within a collaborative team focused on cutting-edge automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and program Elan and URC- Q-SYS control systems for residential and commercial projects.
implement integrated AV solutions, including displays, projectors, audio systems, lighting, shading, and HVAC control where applicable.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and provide timely issue resolution.
Develop system diagrams, wiring schematics, and programming documentation.
Collaborate with sales and design teams to determine client requirements and produce accurate project scopes and timelines.
Provide on-site commissioning, calibration, and user training for clients.
Maintain inventory, tool upkeep, and adherence to safety standards and codes.
Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and product updates; participate in ongoing professional development.
Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication with clients and team members.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in AV installation and/or home automation.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
CEDIA certification or equivalent professional certifications ( Info comm, manufacturer's certifications).
Proven experience programming Elan and URC systems (preferred; strong willingness to learn and demonstrate capability).
Thorough understanding of home automation concepts, IP networking basics, and integration workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexible to adapt to client schedules.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
Networking and IT literacy (routers, switches, Wi-Fi optimization, VLAN basics).
Experience with audio-visual calibration, room acoustics, and sound reinforcement.
Basic electrical knowledge and safety awareness for installation
