Santec Holdings Corporation is pleased to announce the acquisition of HM Solutions
(HMS), expanding Santec’s capabilities in fiber optic cable assembly production test and measurement.

HMS brings advanced automated connector inspection and interferometric metrology
technology to Santec’s existing portfolio of optical performance testing, switching,
reflectometry, and inspection solutions.

The acquisition will also accelerate the development of AIM — Automated Inspection & Metrology, enabling our customers to perform automated 2D inspection and 3D interferometric measurement of fiber optic connectors directly in the polishing fixture.

Together, these technologies strengthen Santec’s ability to provide our customers with more complete, automated test and measurement solutions for single-fiber, multifiber, high-density, and next-generation optical connectivity manufacturing.

“Adding HM Solutions to the Santec family represents an important expansion of Santec’s capabilities in the fiber optic cable assembly production market,” said Chris Heisler, CEO of Santec California Corporation. “By combining Santec’s optical performance measurement technologies with HMS’s automated inspection and interferometric metrology capabilities, we can address more of the production workflow while helping customers improve automation, throughput, consistency, and traceability.”
