Good Monday Morning Everyone!
We hope all are healthy, safe, and staying busy and productive!
It's now going into WEEK 3 of remote operations so we wanted to send this little update out to our clients, and our client's staff who also follow us, and future any endeavors with some of you who take the time to read this.
In these challenging times, we find ourselves diving into an environment most really have little experience on how to operate day to day while at home.
THE MYSTIFYING AND REMARKABLE REMOTE ENVIRONMENT.
Some are finding challenges with time management literally losing their day and nights, and some may have even noticed an increase in the daily productivity! There may be those who can't operate from home using their office phones, or have to connect with clients from their personal cell, without the companies assigned phone numbers being represented on the clients phone, and little to no inner office communication can take place like something as simple as a transfer to an associate. Conference calls? Even Tougher.
Pain Points like these, simple technology we can take for granted working in the office day to day, can cause a mass of hysteria amongst staff.
All the while, can you answer honestly this one question?
Is your firms data safe and secure? Can you verify that employee A is working on a computer that isn't being used by anyone else who may allow a backdoor virus/trojan into that computer which has access to those files? Your files, more importantly, YOUR CLIENTS DATA??
Security Security Security!
Do you know if the tools your staff for remote access are compliant? Are you aware the computer that is being used may be used by 1 or more family members for access to the internet? Can your employees save firm related data locally on the computer? And an even more important question, are the computers being used patched with security and antivirus updates?
These are some of the few topics we cover when we perform an onboard of a new client. Besides, the best backup and redundancy plan is still vulnerable to the lack of security measures it utilizes. Legal Technology Solutions understands the measures needed to cater to the legal industries compliance needs, arriving at a plan collaboratively in the efforts to keep your firm, no matter what the scenario, operational!
So we want to take some time today to give something back to the industry that has brought us down our amazing path of business. If we can replicate a cookie cutter approach of security standards for some, or most firms who are still fortunate enough to operate, it is one less thing for us to worry about during this period of dynamic change. So in lieu of good faith, we will be conducting a Facebook Live feed today, to discuss some possible strategies and scenarios for the remote access operations, which abides by not only HIPPA compliant, but also PCI compliant standards and measures as well.
We will go over key points such as:
Remote software
Secure remote access to firm data (Documents, Spreadsheets, E-sig solutions, One drive, Dropbox, Box)
Email Encryption
Connection Security standards
Voice Calls and Voice Conferencing for telecommuters
And last, mention some productivity tracking solutions which some Fortune 500 companies have adapted towards.
We will wrap the session up with a brief Q&A for everyone! Thank you all and see you soon!
