Over the holidays, our CEO, Young Nguyen, and his family traveled to Indonesia to visit the Sumba Hospitality Foundation, an organization d2o is proud to support year after year.
During their stay at the stunning Maringi Hotel, part of the Sumba Hotel School, Young spent time with the students leading a workshop about dreams—and how to make them happen. Hearing their hopes for the future was incredibly inspiring, and the students loved learning from Young’s own journey and advice.
A truly meaningful experience for everyone involved 🥰🥰🥰

Covid-19 pandemic suddenly imposed many fundamental changes in our everyday life, including our freedom to travel.

The challenges the hospitality business has been facing since March last year are devasting. Tragically, some hotel operators will not make it through this unchartered water. We feel the pain our customers go through and have shown solidarity in the form of offering substantial financial reliefs where possible.

When things look black, we see a silver lining, a great opportunity. Hence, we've been concentrating our effort and creativity on realizing big product innovation ideas. Look forward to launching great features during 2021.

We do this with the confidence that once the industry starts to recover (we hope by Q4-21), d2o is even better equipped to execute our mission to the benefit of our customers as reminded by this inspiring clip.
