Course Description:
(MCIS-DCQT) Leader Workshop provides an overview of capabilities Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) interoperability. Workshop attendees will gain an understanding of the capabilities Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) interoperability and how it contributes to effective Mission Command. The following MCIS are available for integration; AFATDS, AMDWS, JBC-P, TAIS, DCGS-A and JADOCS. Workshops provide the opportunity to develop and refine Unit SOPs and Battle drills.

Course Description:
The FH MTC will conduct the Mission Command Information Systems -Digital Crew Qualification Tables (MCIS-DCQT)Course in order to train MCIS Digital Crews to successfully integrate the units assigned MCIS to communicate effectively through the DDS, use the CPOF and CPCE to develop and produce collaborative products and learn the skills to successfully operate as a MCIS Digital Crew. IAW TC 6-0.1 the course will cover Digital Training Tables (DTT)s III-VI. The course will prepare Digital Crews for certification by the Commander. Digital crews will be proficient at the operation & integration of their MCIS in order to conduct collaborative planning and ex*****on. The following MCIS are available for integration; AFATDS, AMDWS, JBC-P, TAIS, DCGS-A and JADOCS. Skills learned will help their staffs with DTTs VII-X.

CENTAUR Operator Course

Course Description: CENTAUR Handheld Fire Direction System
The CENTAUR is a 24 hours course providing the Technical Fire Direction (TFD) user instruction on how to operate CENTAUR as the primary means of TFD computations in a temporary, controlled and coordinated basis. This course provide the user the knowledge to utilize the CENTAUR by understanding hardware and software, initialization and preparing for operation, set up for safety/non-standards conditions, and compute fire mission processing. Operators are evaluated throughout the course and will receive a Certificate of Training when they complete and pass the End of Course Written examination achieving a minimum score 70%.

Seats Available: 12 per course, units are required to bring their own equipment one week prior to start of course for maintenance and software installation.

The Joint Battle Command Platform Field Maintenance (JBC-P FM) Course is a 40 hour/5 day class which provides the maintainer with the skills necessary to repair/maintain JBC-P systems on today’s digitized battlefield. This course is conducted from 0900-1700 daily except Fridays 0900-1500. It includes both classroom instruction/lecture and hands on training. Students are required to execute practical exercises that test and evaluate skills taught throughout the course.

Operator Course

Course Description:
The Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P) Operator Course provides the capabilities and limitations of the JBC-P and provides operators the skills necessary to perform preventive maintenance (PMCS) on the system and troubleshooting procedures to correct faults found. Operators are given the procedures necessary to prepare the system for combat operations, conduct map / movement operations, and create and manage messages to include reports, overlays, and combat messages. Operators execute classroom practical exercises (PEs) that test and evaluate skills taught throughout the course. Operators are administered an end of course certification exam and are required to achieve a minimum score of 70% in order to be certified as a JBC-P operator. This 40 hour course is conducted over a six day period from 0900-1700 daily except Fridays 0900-1500. It includes both classroom instruction/lecture and hands on training. Students are required to execute practical exercises that test and evaluate skills taught throughout the course.

Operator Course

Course Description: Joint Capability Release (JCR)
The JCR System is a Mission Command Information System (MCIS) that provides vital battle command and situational understanding information across the battlefield from JCR to JBC-P and to the MCIS Arena. The purpose of course is to provide users of JCR techniques and procedures for employing the system, with particular attention to improved Situational Understanding visibility, Mission Command Messaging, Navigation functionality, OPORD/Overlay functionality, Open Office, and combat power reporting. The course give operators the skills necessary to effectively and efficiently manage digital information in order to increase the flow of relevant battlefield information, and increase awareness and understanding of the current tactical situation. This 40 hour course is conducted over a six day period from 0900-1700 daily except Fridays 0900-1500. It includes both classroom instruction/lecture and hands on training. Students are required to execute practical exercises that test and evaluate skills taught throughout the course.

CPCE Operator Course

Course Description:
The Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE) Operators Course, provides students with the skills necessary to operate the CPCE in a Command Post setting. During the course of instruction the student will learn and be able to successfully operate the CPCE using the 1.0.3.1.P2 software version. The student will successfully use all the current tools available in CPCE in order to: develop Collaboration Products, Develop a Common Operational Picture (COP) & Develop Situational Awareness (SA) using Pictures/Layers and Smart Layers. The students learn to share across the CPCE networks and other MCIS through the Data Dissemination Services (DDS). The students will Develop and Conduct a Collaborative Briefing over Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP).
Students are required to execute practical exercises (PE) that test and evaluate skills taught throughout the course. Students will also learn and be able to produce products supporting the Commanders decision making process in order for the Commander to make quick informed decisions. The target audiences are Commanders or Staff Officers at all levels and positions, Senior NCOs and NCOs at all levels and positions and Soldiers of all ranks assigned to the Command Post.
