Most cybersecurity incidents don't start with alarms and flashing red lights.

They start with a single login attempt that doesn't look quite right.

When our monitoring systems detected an unusual login attempt on a Sunday afternoon, our team immediately began investigating. Rather than waiting until Monday, we contacted the customer directly to verify the activity and make sure everything was secure.

The login was legitimate, but that's exactly the point.

Our job isn't just to respond to threats. It's to identify unusual activity, verify it, and give our clients peace of mind before a small concern becomes a bigger problem.

While the customer was enjoying their weekend, we were already looking into it.

Today we had the privilege of attending the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Awards Ceremony as a nominee for the Steven M. Sutton Small Business of the Year Award.

First and foremost, congratulations to McCann's Pharmacy & Adirondack Compounding on this well-deserved recognition. For 100 years, they have faithfully served our community, and it is inspiring to see that legacy honored.

We are incredibly proud to have been nominated for this award for the 8th time, and even more humbled knowing that ADKtechs has had the honor of receiving this award in the past. To be recognized alongside so many outstanding organizations is truly meaningful and serves as a testament to the dedication, commitment, and hard work of our entire team over the last 21 years.

Year 21 has been extraordinary for ADKtechs. We have already surpassed every financial and performance benchmark we track, and we still have one quarter remaining in the year. Those achievements are not the result of any one person. They are the direct result of a talented team that consistently goes above and beyond for our clients, our partners, and our community.

I am incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such hardworking, passionate, and dedicated individuals. Thank you to the ARCC for the nomination, congratulations again to all of this year's nominees and winners, and thank you to the clients, partners, friends, and family who continue to support us.

Last night, we were proud to attend the 45th annual NESCA Trade Show and meet with local businesses throughout the region.

We always enjoy attending local events and building relationships with the businesses that help make our communities strong.

If one employee leaving would throw your technology into chaos, that's a problem.

🎉 Welcome to the Team, Meghan! 🎉

We are excited to welcome Meghan Curran to the ADKtechs team as our new Marketing Coordinator!

Meghan joins us with a strong foundation in marketing, having recently earned her Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of South Florida. Throughout her academic and professional experience, she has developed skills in social media management, content creation, event coordination, community outreach, and brand engagement.

Prior to joining ADKtechs, Meghan gained hands-on marketing experience supporting social media strategy, coordinating events and promotional campaigns, collaborating with vendors and community partners, and tracking marketing performance metrics. She also brings a strong customer-focused mindset and exceptional organizational skills that will help support our continued growth and outreach efforts.

In her role as Marketing Coordinator, Meghan will help strengthen the ADKtechs brand, support customer and community engagement initiatives, coordinate events and campaigns, and enhance our marketing efforts across multiple channels.

This is the definition of community.

Argyle isn’t simply another town ADKtechs serves. It’s home for our president, Jared Humiston, and it has been part of his family’s story for generations.

Jared grew up in Argyle watching his dad work for the town’s highway department, helping care for the same roads and community his family traveled every day. It’s where Jared went from being a kid playing baseball to coaching the next generation of Argyle players. It’s where he started his family, built a business and learned firsthand that a community is strongest when people look out for one another.

That’s why donating iPads to the J.A.Barkley Hose Co.No.1 Inc. ( Argyle Fire/Rescue ) means so much to us.

These devices are more than screens.

They can help firefighters access important information, review maps and building details, complete reports, document incidents, participate in training and communicate more efficiently.

Whether they’re at the station, preparing for a call or working in the field, having information available when and where it’s needed can save valuable time and help the department stay organized and prepared.

The men and women of the Argyle Fire Department step away from their own families, dinners, holidays and everyday lives when someone in their community needs help. They don’t ask who you are or whether it’s a convenient time. They simply answer the call.

We’re proud to provide technology that can make their work a little easier, but this donation represents something much bigger to us.

It’s a son honoring the community his father helped care for. It’s a coach giving back to the town whose kids he now helps lead. It’s a local business remembering where it began. Most importantly, it’s neighbors supporting neighbors.

Argyle helped shape Jared, his family and ADKtechs. Supporting the people who protect it is one small way we can say thank you.
