๐Ÿ›ธ๐Ÿ‘ Meet ATLiens, a special collaboration between Outkast and Portrait Coffee in Atlanta, GA.

A coffee cooler than a polar bearโ€™s toenails.

To celebrate 30 years of Outkastโ€™s iconic album, ATLiens, the legendary Atlanta duo teamed up with our friends at Portrait Coffee for a limited-edition release inspired by the albumโ€™s extraterrestrial lore and deep ATL roots.

And the coffee itself? Pretty special. This Colombian Caturra comes from renowned producer Sebastian Ramirez, who added Georgia peaches to the fermentation tank. The result is a juicy peach-forward coffee with rich brown sugar sweetness and a smooth sweet tea finish. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿง‹

๐ŸŒŽ Origin: Colombia โš—๏ธ Process: Co-Ferment w/ Peach ๐Ÿ”ฌ Variety: Caturra โ›ฐ๏ธ Elevation: 1,800 MASL ๐Ÿ”ฅ Roast: Medium โ˜• Notes: Peaches, Brown Sugar, Sweet Tea

๐Ÿ‹โ˜• Meet Peru Felipe Carwachinchay from our friends at Harp & Bowl.

This is a seriously beautiful Geisha.

Felipe Carwachinchay has spent 15 years honing his craft, and this lot comes from Geisha plants sourced from previous Cajamarca Cup of Excellence competitors. After harvest, the cherries undergo a 12-hour anaerobic fermentation before being pulped, washed, and dried on raised beds.

Harp & Bowl secured a small allocation of this coffee and graciously shared some with us. Weโ€™re glad they did.

The result gives us serious Arnold Palmer vibes. Gentle lemon acidity, plenty of natural sweetness, and a smooth, rounded black tea finish. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿซ–

๐ŸŒŽ Origin: Peru
โš—๏ธ Process: Anaerobic Washed
๐Ÿ”ฌ Variety: Geisha
โ›ฐ๏ธ Elevation: 1,800 MASL
๐Ÿ”ฅ Roast: Light

๐Ÿฅ‚โ˜• Meet Colombia Juan Puerta & Geraldine Rodriguez from Northshore Specialty Coffee.

This is where coffee starts to feel a little like mad science.

Juan Puerta pioneered a process called osmotic dehydration co-fermentation. Pulped coffee cherries are submerged in a concentrated glucose solution blended with lychee, pear juice, and rose petals. The syrup gently draws moisture from the cherries, helping concentrate those flavors more intensely in the coffee.

The result is wild. Crisp, dazzling acidity reminiscent of ice-cold prosecco, followed by prominent pear sweetness and a soft rose finish. ๐Ÿ๐ŸŒน

๐ŸŒŽ Origin: Colombia
โš—๏ธ Process: Co-Ferment w/ Lychee, Pear Juice, Rose Petals
๐Ÿ”ฌ Variety: Castillo
โ›ฐ๏ธ Elevation: 1,387 MASL
๐Ÿ”ฅ Roast: Light
โ˜• Notes: Crisp Prosecco, Pear Juice, Rose Bouquet

โ›ฐ๏ธโ˜• Meet Adamo from Blueprint Coffee in St. Louis, MO.

Go all the way up.

Grown at an incredible 2,200 to 2,450 meters above sea level, these Ethiopian coffees experience extreme temperature swings between day and night. That slows the cherriesโ€™ ripening, giving them more time to develop and concentrate their sugars.

The result? Think cherries and blackberries dusted with powdered sugar, layered with delicate florals. ๐Ÿ’

Sourced through Sookoo Coffee, these beans come from farms so high and remote that reaching them requires hours of driving through mountainous terrain, far from paved roads. Itโ€™s part of what makes coffees like this so difficult to come by.

๐ŸŒŽ Origin: Ethiopia
โš—๏ธ Process: Natural
๐Ÿ”ฌ Variety: JARC 74110, 74112
โ›ฐ๏ธ Elevation: 2,200โ€“2,450 MASL

๐Ÿโ˜• Meet Magarciy Co-Op from Casa Hogar Coffee in Gainesville, GA.

This week, a rule breaker.

Guatemalan coffees are often known for their smooth, chocolatey profiles. This one goes in a completely different direction. Magarciy Co-Op surprised us with a burst of tropical fruit, bringing bright pineapple acidity, smooth banana, and sweet strawberry. Itโ€™s easily one of the most unique Guatemalan coffees weโ€™ve tried.

The coffee comes from a cooperative of smallholder farmers in Santiago Atitlรกn, where producing something this distinctive takes a community-wide effort.

๐ŸŒŽ Origin: Guatemala
โš—๏ธ Process: Natural
๐Ÿ”ฌ Variety: Bourbon, Caturra, Catuai
โ›ฐ๏ธ Elevation: 1,600โ€“2,000 MASL
๐Ÿ”ฅ Roast: Light-Medium
โ˜• Notes: Pineapple, Banana, Strawberry

๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ดโ˜• Meet Ramirez Estate from Vice City Bean in Miami, FL.

Canโ€™t keep the DR on the DL for much longer.

The Dominican Republic is still an emerging origin in specialty coffee, with less than 20% of the countryโ€™s coffee making its way abroad. In 2025, ten Dominican producers brought their coffees to the Specialty Coffee Expo in Houston, helping introduce more of the world to whatโ€™s happening there. Ramirez Estate gave us a chance to taste that potential firsthand.

This one is rich and full-bodied, led by a deep amaretto sweetness with dried strawberry and a floral cacao character rounding things out. ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿซ

๐ŸŒŽ Origin: Dominican Republic
โš—๏ธ Process: Natural
๐Ÿ”ฌ Variety: Caturra
โ›ฐ๏ธ Elevation: 1,300 MASL
๐Ÿ”ฅ Roast: Medium-Light
โ˜• Notes: Amaretto, Dried Strawberries, Cacao
