🔐 Cybersecurity Awareness Month Tip: Not every QR code is safe to scan.

QR codes are everywhere: parking meters, restaurant tables, flyers, and even emails. Scammers know people scan them without thinking, so they use fake codes to send victims to phishing sites.

Before scanning:

✅ Be cautious with QR codes in unexpected emails or texts
✅ Preview the web address before opening it, and never enter a password on a site you reached by QR code

If something feels off, go directly to the official website instead.
