We may have mentioned it once or twice, but do you know where our name “Second-61” came from?

Founded in Cañon City, Colorado, Second-61 takes its name from the 2nd Colorado Infantry Regiment — a fearless group of volunteers during the American Civil War who helped defend the Union and protect the western gold fields. They fought bravely and helped shape history.

That same grit, resilience, and can-do spirit still drive everything we do today.
