Great weekend in Grafton at the 2026 Massachusetts Solidarity Economy Festival & Gathering!

Gratitude all around:

* to Worx Printing for co-operatively sharing space with us under their tent on the drizzly day

Weekly update is here and we've got some good news to share.
690 followers on Instagram and 580 on Facebook since we launched in December. We're so glad you're all here, and we're just getting started.

We had an incredible time at the Civic Days Block Party last Friday. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and took the time to hear what we're building. The response from the community means everything to us.

We're hoping to see you again at River City Rhythm and Rock Fest on August 29th. More summer event updates to come!

"Fitchburg Fiber and its associated Old Growth Co-op were there, encouraging people to sign up for internet service (which they offer in the downtown area) and new wireless phone service, which is offered through the co-op, and gives people a chance to keep their high-tech payments local, and end the expensive giveaway of your hard-earned dollars to tech giants. And no rumors of them being a data center are not really true, they are more of an internet exchange point, and only use as much energy as a typical house, so any data center fears are unfounded. (But if you go online you can find it listed as a data center, many of which are in the news lately for using massive amounts of energy to power artificial intelligence servers, but no, that hasn’t come to Fitchburg yet.)"
