Drew Smith has officially stepped into the role of Chief Operating Officer.

From walking the halls of Copiers Plus with his grandfather as a kid to joining the team in 2014, Drew has grown alongside the company and the people who make it what it is today.

Now, he’s helping lead Copiers Plus into its next chapter while carrying forward a legacy more than 40 years in the making.

I recently had the opportunity to speak on behalf of Copiers Plus as a sponsor of the Fayetteville Business Journal Power Breakfast. The topic of the morning was Beyond the Balance Sheet, and the program featured banking executives exploring growth, opportunity, and long-term success.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved founding Corporate Secretary, Jacquelin “Jackie” Smith, who passed away peacefully on March 19th. Jackie was a foundational part of Copiers Plus from the very beginning, working alongside her husband, our founder Bob Smith, and helping shape the company into what it is today. She poured her heart into her family, her work, and the people around her, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Beyond her role in the business, Jackie was a devoted daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, and her presence will be deeply missed by both her family and the Copiers Plus team.

On behalf of the Smith family, we thank you for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers. We take comfort in knowing that Jackie is at home with the Lord and reunited with Bob.

In the coming days, we welcome you to share any memories or stories of Jackie, as we know her life touched so many in meaningful ways.

Visitation: April 7, 2026, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM & April 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM
