I just realized I’ve never properly introduced myself here!
I’m Michelle👋🏽, your local sweet dealer, the owner of Your FAVORite Fairy, wife and a proud mama to four beautiful girls: Amina (10), Amiyah (6), Alayna 🦋, and Camille, who will be turning ONE soon. 😭💕
My sweet daughter Alayna passed away unexpectedly at 28 weeks, and that loss sent me into one of the hardest seasons of my life. I tried so many things to help me heal, but what ultimately brought me back to myself was cooking and baking.
Although I only recently launched my business, bringing people joy and creating reasons to smile has always been a passion of mine.
As I was learning to love life again, our youngest daughter, Camille, decided she couldn’t wait to meet us. Instead of arriving on her September 26 due date, she surprised us by making her grand entrance on Juneteenth while her dad was deployed. 😆
Her early arrival meant an unexpected 111-day NICU journey, but today our little fighter is happy, healthy, and thriving. Now that life has settled into a new rhythm, I’m finally able to pour back into myself and continue growing this dream.
On top of being a mother, I’m also a full time student, Army veteran, a military spouse, and a military brat. I guess you could say service runs through both my family and my veins. 🇺🇸
I’m deeply grateful for every experience God and life have brought me through because each season, both beautiful and heartbreaking, has shaped who I am today. And through it all…I still continue to smile 😁
When I’m not in the kitchen, you can usually find me dragging my husband and kids out of the house to make memories. After all we’ve experienced, I’ve learned that every breath, every minute, and every smile shared with the people you love is a gift and never a guarantee. 🤍
