There’s a lot coming together at Valor Bluffs Golf Course right now, and seeing the transformation in person this week was impressive. As one of our newest SmartBiz customers, we’ve been helping finalize connectivity across the property as they get closer to opening soon.

We spent some time around the clubhouse with General Manager Chantel, reviewed a few remaining technical details, and it’s easy to see the vision they’ve built for the course. With the modern atmosphere, relaxed feel, and everything they’ve done with the grounds itself, this is shaping up to be a really unique addition to the area (night time golf remains, but there's so much more that's new!). Looking forward to sharing more once they officially open.

Colin working through locate tickets, project notes, emails, and maps this, trying to stay ahead of problems before they become delays. Usually with two monitors up, a phone going, and somebody needing an answer on where something is buried before a crew heads out to dig. 👊

We spent the morning at Engler Park and Downtown Farmington for our annual Earth Day cleanup. Just getting out, putting in a little work, and taking care of places a lot of people in the community use every day. Nothing big, just doing our part. Appreciate this crew getting after it today!

Got teams from across the company, field and office, in the same place for a bit. Working through installs, comparing notes, and making sure what one group is doing lines up with the next. Love connecting pieces that don’t usually sit next to each other and catching things here instead of out in the field.

He’s been working directly with customers who are service-ready: Walking through options, getting them signed up, and making sure install is the next step. He might even be the one helping you next!

Some coworkers become more than just coworkers. This week we gathered for a barbecue to wish one of our splicing technicians, Randy Lott, the best as he heads into a new chapter. He brought a lot of care and pride to the work he did here, and he’ll definitely be missed by the team.

Caught a quick photo of two of our installers while they were out at a customer’s home. The trucks cover a lot of ground each week as crews move from one install to the next across the communities we serve. Always appreciate the work the team puts in out there.

Quick reminder for our fiber customers: Our Enable Wi-Fi app was upgraded to Version 3.0 recently.

If you’re using Aptitude Wi-Fi equipment, the update added:

• Work, Gaming, and Entertainment modes
• Device prioritization
• Simple profiles for everyone in your home

Same app, just more control built in. And if you haven’t opened it in a while (or haven’t downloaded it yet), it might be worth a look.

An office update for our Farmington customers: We transitioned our Farmington offices to one main customer-facing location.

📍 Our Westmount office (1701 S Westmount Dr), will serve as our primary headquarters for customer visits and payments.

📍 The 1027 Ste. Genevieve Ave. office will not be open for walk-in visits, but the payment drop box will remain available.
