66% of CEOs froze hiring this quarter. Not because the economy is bad. Because they found something better.

The Fortune survey dropped this week and the pattern is clear: companies are spending on AI to extend their teams, not shrink them. Meta cut 15,000 roles and immediately hired AI engineers. Midwest companies are moving from pilots to production.

The hiring freeze is actually a deployment signal.

Participating in Operation Good Cheer is one of our team's favorite things about the holiday season! 🎁🎅

We rounded up more donations than ever this year and bought lots of fun gifts for foster kids of Michigan - and our team had a blast wrapping them, too! As always, it was amazing to see all the presents pile up as we helped to load them for transport.

The Workd family started the holidays off full of cheer, and we hope you have a wonderful season, too!

As a senior software engineer that's been with us since the beginning, Travis Hill is one of the backbones of Workd! His important work includes project planning, writing technical requirements, and developing new features for SupplyMover.

What Travis likes about his job:
"I've always enjoyed solving puzzles, and software development is a lot like that. You're presented with challenges that require you to think logically to solve. And you create something that helps others to be more effective at their jobs."

Travis the #1 Dad says:
I have a wonderful wife and two daughters, ages 9 and 12, and they are my life. Both daughters play travel softball year-round, the younger also plays soccer, and the older also plays volleyball. Most of our weekends are spent watching them play in softball tournaments and most of our weekdays are spent taking them to practices and lessons. We have about a month before school starts each year where they're between seasons and things calm down a bit, but even during that short down period, we miss watching them play.

🃏 We asked Travis what interesting facts he knows, and he taught us:
When you shuffle a deck of cards, it's very likely that no deck of cards has ever been shuffled in that same order!
