Are MLSs killing themselves?

That was the provocative question at yesterday’s Central Ohio Real Estate and Development Summit, where FBS CEO Michael Wurzer engaged in a debate with Rob Hahn on the future of the MLS.

Rob says ending IDX could help preserve cooperation. Michael sees a different path: modernize how MLS data is licensed.

From IDX and VOWs to usage-based licensing, broker rewards, and who gets to decide how MLS data is used, Michael shares his take on where MLSs should go from here.
