Fairyport Lights- 2026 Call for Artists and Host Locations
(more info in the comments)
Lake County Arts, a non-profit organization was formed to fill a need in our community for creating and managing public art projects in Fairport Harbor and surrounding communities.
We are excited to announce our first public art project as we invite artists to participate in a unique public art experience celebrating the spirit of Fairport Harbor.
The Harbor Lights Trail will feature a growing collection of artist-created lighthouse sculptures displayed throughout the village—inviting visitors to explore, discover, and connect with art across the community.

Lake County Arts coordinates placement and continuity of all works within the Trail.
Small, imaginative one-of-a-kind lighthouse sculptures displayed in local businesses, indoor spaces, and select outdoor locations. Community-focused and creative, these works are part of a growing public art collection and are intended for ongoing seasonal display as part of the Harbor Lights Trail.
Artists will also have an opportunity to participate in a Winter Lights edition, which will be decorated and displayed during the holiday season for the Harbor Lights Trail: Winter theme.
Similar to existing Fairy Door projects such as the one in our sister city of Ashtabula, we are creating a concept and version that gives it our own unique Fairport spin.
We hope to work collaborative with Ashtabula to promote each others unique trails.
Our inaugural project will feature tiny lighthouses, with the option for other themes and future series.
Initial placements are limited and will be filled on a rolling basis. Early participants will be prioritized for inclusion in the first Harbor Lights Trail map and launch.
