At Funk/Levis, we believe good work doesn’t stop when the workday ends. As a company and as individuals, our team finds ways to give back, get involved and support the communities we call home. From serving on boards to volunteering time and skills, we’re proud to show up for the causes and organizations that matter to us.
Anne Marie believes in showing up for her community. She serves with the Journalism Advancement Council for the UO School of Journalism and Communications, helping support the next generation of journalists and communicators. She also lends her time to She Champions Oregon, Pleasant Hill/Goshen Fire District and ACT Now! Lane.
For John, giving back means sharing his time and expertise. He serves on the Sheldon High School Lacrosse Club board, supporting communications, recruitment and fundraising. He volunteers with The Jazz Station’s marketing committee, helping with photography, the website and event promotion, and mentors small business owners through SCORE.
Karen puts community at the center of her volunteer work. Through the Emerald Valley Pickleball Foundation, she’s helping support the vision for a regional pickleball complex at Lane Community College—creating a space for recreation, connection and community. She also serves with Eugene Rotary’s Community Service Committee, helping support projects that make a difference locally.
For Lauriene, giving back is about showing up. She’s been running the EWEB Run to Stay Warm for 5–6 years, supporting EWEB’s Customer Care Program, and regularly contributes to local nonprofits and mutual aid funds. She also loves getting involved in area fundraisers, especially those connected to running and soccer.
