Having cell service issues?
We have been made aware of reports from residents and visitors (and yes, our peeps, too) experiencing intermittent cellular service issues in the Estes Park area, including phones showing “SOS only” or not connecting to cellular service at all.

At this time, this appears to be related to cellular carrier service and is NOT related to Trailblazer Broadband internet service. We have not received a carrier-confirmed outage notice for the Estes Park area, but public outage trackers are showing possible reported issues with major cellular carriers.

If your phone is affected, please try connecting to Wi-Fi and enabling Wi-Fi Calling. Apple notes that “SOS” or “SOS only” means the device is not connected to your cellular network, though emergency calls may still be available through other carrier networks where supported.

For emergencies, call 911 when possible. If your mobile phone cannot connect, please use Wi-Fi Calling, a landline, or another available phone.

We’ll continue to monitor for any confirmed carrier updates.
