Wrapped up all the hand-ink on this closeup shot from the prologue of my book- "Derangel"... been looking forward to inking this page and i'm pretty happy with how it came out. This is the 1st appearance of Amos Highbrow's actual face, on which i completely redesigned his eyes. You can see the difference between the original design ca. '99, and even the later pencil sketch for this current page. Still recognizable as the same character, but i think that my new design is a notable improvement. I think i've placed Amos in his mid-20's during this scene which takes place in '74, so his look when we re-introduce him in present-day will also have gone through some changes, if you dig it then give me a "like"
