From the first time I heard the name Nikola Tesla I longed for renewable energy. After looking into "Free Energy" or "Zero Point Energy" way back when I had my Consumer Electronics store I soon found many good ways to cut back or eliminate power use from coal, nuclear, and hydro power sources. I have spent good time and money on mad scientist projects looking for free/no cost energy. I believe
it is real....but with our current technology ( or lack of understanding ) I feel out best options are wind and solar power. Here in the beautiful North West I firmly believe a combo is the best option. And in a funny way, that was the birth of Winds of Change. I went to get setup as a dealer for wind turbines ( wind generators ) and as I got one to put in my store, The owner asked if I needed a tower. I looked at the towers and with my fabrication skill, imagination, and drive to make a better gadget... I told him I could make a better one at a better price point. He told me to let him know if I did build one. Later down the road I designed a tower that was strong, easy to setup for most folks, and was affordable. I let him know and he asked me the cost. The next day I started building him towers for his company. With hundreds sold, and customers all over the world happy I moved into sales of more then just towers. Truck loads of solar panels started showing up at the shop. And I am happy to say I have customer that are total off the grid! As a wind turbine manufacturer I can build custom towers for both roof mount, and poll mount systems...even boats and RV's.
