McCormack / Ellington Telecom recently experienced a service disruption originating from an issue outside of our network that impacted Internet connectivity. This incident also affected service to users in networks beyond McCormack. Unfortunately, these types of events are rapidly increasing on a global scale. Our team quickly responded and engaged experts to assist and ensure network safety. We are monitoring our systems and will continue to work with experts and other partners to prevent future interruptions.

This week, McCormack assisted our community by cleaning out the creek beds in Ellington as part of an effort to mitigate the damaging impacts of potential floods.

This email is NOT from McCormack. Do not click links or provide any information.

📝 Fun Fact: Pictured in this image are reels of conduit that we bury underground to surround and protect our fiber cables from damage, and later use to jet fiber through using compressed air. One reel alone contains well over a mile of conduit!
