Okay, now a closer look at mine. ππ¨
On Friday, Grunge Muffin Designs organized our second Meter Makeover for Volunteer Cecil, this time tackling the meters on Bow Street in downtown Elkton. We had 7 volunteers transform 9 meters, and of course I couldnβt organize a painting project without getting my own hands dirty too.
For my meter, I went with a sensory-inspired theme: lots of bright colors, dots, swirls, waves, rainbows, stars and different shapes to look at and explore. Basically, itβs just as colorful and fun as everything else I design. π
Did it take me longer than it should have? Yes. Did I keep finding one more little spot that obviously needed another dot, line or squiggle? Also yes. The devil is in the details... and I have been known to hyperfixate a little once I get going. π
But my favorite part came when I brought Ollie over to see it. Ollie Bear loves it. He immediately started checking it out and touching all the different colorful areas, which is exactly what I hoped he would do when I chose the sensory theme. π
So here she is, in all her ridiculously colorful glory. A little piece of Grunge Muffin out in the wild. π
And swipe through for my favorite little art critic giving his official inspection. π₯°
