Dr. Elko Tech

Special announcement of transition for Dr. Elko Tech to operate under Cosmality, still operated by Chisholm Morris. This will also be changing the services available with more details soon to come.

With the season changing 🍁 and vendor events slowing down, I’m entering a transition period from now through Halloween 🎃, with the next phase continuing into the new year 🎉.

By October 31, Cosmality, Circuit Static, Dr. Elko Tech, and my other ventures, such as SciFantaPunk, Thirteen Tales, etc... will all begin consolidating under one public business identity, while individual creative work will increasingly be credited under my name, Chisholm Morris.

This includes a significant Halloween this year with new music, live performances, artwork and more!

Social media will also be simplified, with some pages becoming archival and pointing toward fewer active accounts, but with more material! 😎👍

At the same time, more of my artwork, music, digital products, services, and recurring projects will be moving online 🌐📶, making them easier to purchase, follow, or subscribe to without needing to find me at a vendor event or physical store, while still maintaining work in select physical locations. 🏪

More details will roll out between now and Halloween.

💻 Experiencing these?

⚠️ Files suddenly taking forever to open
⚠️ Folders freezing or refusing to load
⚠️ Strange clicking or repeated noises
⚠️ Programs crashing for no obvious reason
⚠️ The computer occasionally failing to find the drive
⚠️ Files becoming corrupted or disappearing

Here’s the important part:

If important data is involved, repeatedly restarting the computer, running repair utilities, or trying to copy the entire drive over and over can sometimes make things worse!

If the machine is acting strangely and the files matter, stop treating it like a computer problem and start treating it like a data problem.

Sometimes the first priority is not fixing the computer.
It is getting your stuff off of it while you still can. 💾

Just one of those things that is a lot cheaper and a lot less painful to know before you need to know it.

📞 Things have been getting busier at Dr. Elko Tech.

I’ve seen a noticeable increase in service calls lately, which is great, but it also means that if you’ve been putting off a computer problem, upgrade, maintenance, or other tech work, now is a good time to get on the schedule before it becomes urgent!

💻 House calls and scheduled drop-off and pickup service are available by appointment.

⚡ Priority service is also available, and customers with ongoing maintenance agreements receive scheduling priority.

If your computer or technology is something you depend on for your home or business, regular service can help catch small problems before they become expensive emergencies and make it easier to get help when you actually need it.

📅 If you’ve got something you’ve been meaning to have looked at, send me a message or give Dr. Elko Tech a call and let’s get it scheduled. 775-927-8608

Dr. Elko Tech isn't called Dr Elko Computers for a reason... I do more than just computers. Even game consoles, printers, security systems and more. I'm a tech, not just a 'computer repair guy'
